Course conversion

General information
If your syllabus has been completely or partially changed and is being replaced, you must adapt to the new syllabus and convert your student record.

Application
You must address your application to the dean of your faculty or the director of your centre for your studies to be converted and submit the application to the Academic Administration Office (Gestió Acadèmica).

Applications period
The period during which you may submit this application is decided by each faculty and teaching centre.

Please bear in mind the following:

Conversions between three-year, four-year and/or engineering degrees:

  • All the modules in your original syllabus, whether you have passed them or not, will be converted if there is an equivalent module in the new syllabus.
  • Free-choice credits may be awarded for modules that have no equivalent in the new syllabus.
  • You will keep the same grade for all the modules you have taken, and the number of times you have failed any modules will also remain unchanged.
  • When you enrol in modules you have previously failed, you will have to pay the usual additional fees.

Conversions of three-year, four-year and engineering degrees, to EHEA degrees or university master's degrees:

  • All modules passed in your original syllabus will be converted if there is an equivalent module in the new syllabus.
  • You will keep the same grade for all the modules you have taken, and the number of times you have failed or needed to pass a module will also remain unchanged.
