Welcoming sessions

Below you will find the welcoming session programme for the first term.

All activities are free, but you might need to register beforehand for some of them.

Take a look at the activities and choose the ones you're most interested in! You will find registration forms at the Students Building (ETC) website.

Sessions

Wednesday, 23 September

 - 11:00 am Welcoming event at the ETC (morning session*)

 - 12:00 am Students' fair, performances, food and drinks in front of the ETC cinema

 - 3:00 pm Welcoming event at the ETC (afternoon session*)

 *Seating in the ETC cinema is limited. Those who are not able to attend the morning session can attend the afternoon session.

Monday, 28 September
- 11:00 am "How to become a UAB volunteer" organised by FAS (Fundació Autònoma Solidaria) at ETC.

Tuesday, 29 September
- 11:00 am Workshop organised by UAB Language Service at ETC: "Intercomprehension of Romance languages" (it is necessary to speak at least one Romance language).
- 12:30 pm Get to know the "Castellers" with UAB's Els Ganàpies at the Plaça Cívica.
- 5:00 pm Presentation of ESN (Erasmus Student Network) at ETC. - 6:00 pm Sinvergüenza, welcoming performance by LGTB at ETC.

Wednesday, 30 September
- 11:00 am Want to go hiking and visit different places? Comme discover the CAU (Alpine University Club) at ETC.

Thursday, 1 October

- 12:00 pm Films at ETC cinema

- 1:00 pm Multicultural lunch in front of the ETC building (Bring along typical food from your country!!)

From 5 October visit the exhibit "40 years of UAB" (until 6 November).

Exhibition hall of the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives.

 - Exhibit "Senegal con nuestros ojos", until 30 October at the ETC theatre hall.
