Quality-Assurance Model

The fundamental belief of the UAB is that quality is not a concept that can be isolated; it is an attitude and an approach that must infuse every activity carried out by an organisation. In that sense, we cannot strictly speak of «the objectives of a quality-assurance policy at the UAB», but rather of how quality is present in the overall policy of the university’s Governing Team, and how this is incorporated into the university’s master plan. The UAB master plan reflects the university’s commitment to quality through defining itself as «a Catalan public university, with an international focus that, through high-quality teaching profoundly linked to its research activities and to those of knowledge transference, by means of the potential offered by its human capital, acts from its campus as a motor for the economic and social development of its environment, in accordance with its values».
